白駒

The Story of 白駒酒造

Hakukoma Shuzo began brewing in 1697, when the shogunate's magistrate's office issued it a license known as the kodai-shu kansatsu. Based in Imajo, in Minami-echizen, Fukui — one of the country's heaviest snowfall areas — the kura has brewed for more than 300 years, drawing on the skill of experienced Noto toji, local Fukui rice, and mountain groundwater to build a sake of deep, rich, fine-grained flavor.
