Since 1804 in Eiheiji, Kokuryu has staked everything on one belief: brew well, and people will always follow.
Kokuryu Shuzo has brewed in Eiheiji, Fukui since 1804, guided by a family creed passed down through the generations: make good sake, and people will always support it. Rather than scaling up, the house has kept production small and largely hand-built, treating quality as the only real measure of success in every batch it sends out. That philosophy runs through two flagship lines carried side by side under the Kokuryu ("Black Dragon") and Kuzuryu ("Nine-Headed Dragon") names.
