The Story of 富良詩蒸留所

Furashi Distillery is a new distillery project announced in June 2025 by Karuizawa Distillers in partnership with the Seibu group, planned near the Shin Furano Prince Hotel with opening targeted for fiscal 2028. Beyond whisky production, the plan includes production tours, an academy, a bar and restaurants — an experience-led destination distillery, supervised by Ian Chang.
