Since 1843 — 三木市, Hyogo
A Miki brewery in Japan's top Yamada Nishiki growing region, twenty years deep into the art of aged sake.
Inami Shuzo has brewed in Miki, Hyogo — Japan's leading production area for the prized Yamada Nishiki rice — since 1843. Guided by a philosophy of quality first, the brewery has belonged to a long-term aged-sake research association for more than two decades, patiently cellaring koshu (aged sake). That work was recognized with a gold medal in the koshu category at KuraMaster 2024. The kura also holds Geographical Indication (GI) certified products and takes part in environmental initiatives tied to the UN Sustainable Development Goal for life on land.
