The Story of 火の神蒸溜所

Hinokami Distillery is where Satsuma Shuzo began whisky production in 2023 — the southernmost whisky distillery on Japan's main islands. The site holds production buildings for both malt and grain whisky, along with a cooperage and maturation warehouses, and carries the HINOKAMI brand. Visitor centre tours are by advance reservation; the shop is open to all.
