The Story of 縣屋酒造

Agataya Shuzo, founded in 1950 in Ajimu, Usa, Oita, draws on sake-brewing craftsmanship rooted in a tradition dating back to 1712 to make its honkaku shochu, using water from the Yufu mountain range. Ajimu is celebrated for its exceptionally clear water, symbolized by Higashishiiya Falls, one of Japan's 100 famous waterfalls. Unable to imitate what national brands offer, the brewery focuses on handmade quality and honest, straightforward products, refining its craft daily.
