Chuko Shuzo, founded in 1949 in Tomigusuku, is an awamori maker known above all for kusu — aged awamori — and extends that craft into liqueurs such as its Kusu Umeshu. The Kusu no Mori Chukogura opens the distillery to visitors by reservation.
