Toa Shuzo has brewed in Hanyu, Saitama, since 1945, making sake under the Seigiku label alongside whisky at its Hanyu Distillery, home to the Golden Horse range. The house has picked up a run of recent honors, including a platinum prize at Kura Master 2026 and awards at the Tokyo Whisky & Spirits Competition 2026.
