Kikuyoi — Shizuoka ginjo by a brewer who grows his own rice.
Aoshima Shuzo, founded in 1868 in Fujieda, brews Kikuyoi on the spring waters of the Southern Alps. Owner-toji Denzaburo Aoshima — heir to the Shida toji lineage — grows rice himself and brews the Shizuoka style of ginjo prized as food sake. The kura is not open for tours.
