Hana no Tsuyu, founded in 1745, was one of the oldest breweries of the Jojima district of Kurume, known for soft-water sake and barley shochu. The company closed in December 2024, but its brewing story did not end there: on April 1, 2026, a production licence was granted to a business successor.
