The Story of 梅ヶ谷酒造

Umegaya Shuzo was founded in 1834 in Kama, Fukuoka, in the rich natural surrounds of the Onga River's headwaters. Sake production was suspended in 1979, and in July 2024 the kura reopened as a memorial hall with a shop, preserving the brewery's history for visitors; guided tours require advance reservation.
