Miyuki — named for an imperial visit, poured at Itsukushima Shrine.
Koizumi Honten, founded in 1875 in the Kusatsu district of Hiroshima City, brews Miyuki — a label named to commemorate a visit by Emperor Meiji. The house brews the sacred sake of Itsukushima Shrine and releases seasonal sakes for blossom viewing, summer evenings and the autumn moon. Tasting sessions are held at its Miyuki Gallery every Sunday and the second Saturday of the month (13:00–16:00, ¥1,000), and its shop sells online.
