The Story of 丹久蒸留所

This public-private craft distillery in Higashikawa broke ground in 2024, with its building completed in April 2025. It combines the town's famous spring water with cedar washbacks and an iStill distillation system to make gin, liqueurs and whisky. Guided distillery tours run by advance reservation as of 2026.
