The Story of 当別蒸溜所

Tobetsu Distillery is a small craft whisky project in Tobetsu, near Sapporo, which broke ground in 2025. It is renovating the wooden schoolhouse of the former Benkebetsu elementary school into a distillery devoted to one thing: small-batch single malt.
