Japanese brewing craft crossed with European distilling, by the Akashi strait.
Kaikyo Distillery was established in 2017 by Akashi Sake Brewery. Crossing Japanese sake-making technique with European distilling culture, it produces the Hatozaki whisky range and craft gin. The visitor centre runs tours with tastings, by reservation.
