The Story of 松尾酒造

Matsuo Shuzo was founded in 1865 in Taishi, Ibo District, Hyogo Prefecture, and built its name on the label Kyokuryu ('Rising Dragon'). A shortage of successors forced it to stop brewing in 1979, but in 2011 — with support from the Himeji brewery Honda Shoten — it resumed production after a 32-year hiatus.
