Takara Shuzo's Nada outpost in Kobe, famous for turning handcrafted technique into the sparkling hit Mio.
Shirakabegura is Takara Shuzo's brewing base in Higashinada, Kobe, part of a company whose sake-making origins trace to 1842. Under the Shochikubai Shirakabegura label, the kura pursues the quality of traditional hand-brewing. Its sparkling seishu, Mio, has become a major commercial success. As with Takara's other facilities, the brewery does not offer public tours.
