Founded in 1877 by Yasui Manzo in Higashi-Honjo, Sanda, Hyogo, Yasui Shuzo sits at the base of the medieval mountain castle Honjo Maruyama-jo. Its flagship label is Mukoizumi, and alongside its sake the brewery also makes its own shiso juice and amazake.
