The Story of 文本酒造

Fumimoto Shuzo is the last sake brewery remaining in Kubokawa, on the middle reaches of the Shimanto River in Kochi. The kura uses a mix of sake rice and table rice grown both inside and outside the prefecture, brewed with Shimanto River water, in pursuit of sake that expresses the terroir and spirit of the land. On its grounds it also runs a sake-pairing bar serving its own brews alongside local ingredients, and welcomes visitors for reserved brewery tours from Friday through Monday.
