The Story of 瑞鷹

Zuiyo, founded in 1867 in the Kawajiri brewing district of Kumamoto City, is one of the last houses keeping the tradition of Toyo akazake, Kumamoto's ceremonial red sake, while also brewing rich, aromatic seishu. Its sakes took gold and recommended awards at the 2026 Fine Sake Awards (sake in a wine glass). Factory tours are offered.
