Mikotsuru — IWC Champion Sake 2021, from Shimosuwa's only kura.
Suwa Mikotsuru Shuzojo, founded in 1908, is the only sake brewery in Shimosuwa, on the shore of Lake Suwa. Brewing to its theme of sake that makes the heart leap, it won Champion Sake — the top prize — at the IWC 2021. Tours run Friday to Sunday and holidays, by reservation.
