Yoshinoya was founded in 1637 in the Nishinomon quarter at the gates of Zenkoji temple in Nagano City. Alongside its Nishinomon sake — with competition honours to its name — the house makes Zenkoji miso and amazake, and welcomes temple pilgrims with free brewery tours daily from 8:30 to 17:00.
