The Story of 浜松酒造

Founded in 1871 along the old Tokaido road near what is now JR Hamamatsu Station, Hamamatsu Shuzo brews from a site combining Showa- and Heisei-era buildings. Its flagship label, Shusse-jo, takes its name from a local nickname for Hamamatsu Castle — 'the castle of success' — making the brewery known for an auspicious name as much as its sake.
