Echigo-school brewing on Tenryu River water — the only one in Shizuoka.
Senju Shuzo, founded in 1902 in Iwata, Shizuoka, brews with subsoil water of the Tenryu River in the Echigo school — the only kura in the prefecture to do so. Beyond its sake Senju Shirabyoshi, the house makes whisky, shochu, liqueurs and fruit wines. Tours and tastings are not currently offered.
