The Story of 鳴門のいも屋

Naruto no Imoya, founded in 1993 in Naruto, Tokushima, is built around Naruto Kintoki — a local sweet potato prized for its chestnut-like texture and elegant sweetness. In 2006 the company became the first in Shikoku to obtain a license to distill honkaku shochu, and it makes its products without additives or synthetic sweeteners, letting the ingredient speak for itself. In 2025 it launched a group company, IMOYA Farm, to grow its own potatoes for a more sustainable supply chain.
