きらい
Since 1896 — 美馬市, Tokushima
An Awa kura since 1896 in a village called Kirai — 'where joy arrives' — brewing purely from rice and koji.
Tsukasagiku Shuzo has brewed since 1896 in Mima, western Tokushima, a region blessed with Mt. Tsurugi, the Yoshino River and the clear Anabuki River. The kura stands in Kirai, a place name dating to the Kamakura era, and its Awa toji brew using only locally grown rice, aiming for the purest form of junmai — sake made from nothing but rice and rice koji. The brewery sums up its spirit simply: from the land where joy arrives comes a cup of joy.
