Noda's only historic sake house, named for a Man'yoshu poem and set along the Tone Canal.
Kubota Shuzo has brewed in Noda, Chiba since 1872, along the Tone Transport Canal, and remains the city's only long-established sake brewery. Its sake, Katsushika, takes its name from a poem in the Man'yoshu, Japan's oldest poetry anthology. Tours and tastings are available with advance notice.
