Maizakura — all-Chiba junmai, and a brewery concert running since 1992.
Moriya Shuzo, founded in 1893 in Sanmu, brews Maizakura on a creed of local everything: local rice, local water, local climate and local warmth. Its sakes centre on junmai made from 100% Chiba-grown rice, under fifth-generation head Masahiro Moriya. The kura concert it has hosted since 1992 has become its signature event, and the house also brews custom-label sake for clients. Tours and concerts by reservation.
