秀楽

The Story of 秀楽酒造

Founded in 1910 in Kamogawa, on the Boso Peninsula in Chiba, Shuraku Shuzo traces its roots to Atsumi Kinjiro, who settled in the area — following the Yokosuka domain's Nishio clan — in search of clean spring water. The brewery still follows its founding motto, roughly 'excellent sake, joyfully made,' and draws on that same spring water today. Its style favors a light, dry junmai ginjo, alongside a notably dry honjozo called Kyoku Kara.
