Named for its founders Katsusaburo and Tsuru, in the pottery town of Tobe.
Kachitsuru Shuzo has brewed since 1872 in Tobe, the Ehime town famous for Tobe-yaki porcelain. The sake's name joins the given names of its founders — Katsusaburo and his wife Tsuru. Brewery tours are free of charge with an advance phone reservation, from 8:00 to 17:00.
