清夜の吟
Since 1844 — 北九州市, Fukuoka
An 1844 Kitakyushu kura at the foot of Mt. Sarakura, brewing under the motto "raise it, don't just make it."
Mizokami Shuzo has brewed in Yahata, Kitakyushu, since its founding in 1844, working in the cold-brewing climate at the base of Mt. Sarakura and drawing on the area's clear spring water. Its labels Tenshin and Seiya no Gin reflect a guiding philosophy the brewery sums up simply: sake should be raised, not manufactured, brewed with patient, careful attention.
