A Kani brewery from a family rooted in the area since 1612, now brewing under the Minotengu and Akechi Mitsuhide labels.
Minotengu was founded in 1900 in Kani, Gifu, by a Hayashi family that had lived in the area, then known as Hiramaki village in Mino Province, since 1612. Once known for its Tomikoshi brand, the kura now brews under the Minotengu and Akechi Mitsuhide labels, with the owner serving as the brewery's own toji.
