Born from the merger of ten Awaji Island breweries in 1945, crowned IWC 2024's top Champion Sake.
Miyakobijin Shuzo was formed in 1945 when ten breweries in southern Awaji Island merged into one. The kura has kept the old yamahai method of brewing, prizing the deep umami and richness it produces. In 2024 its sake was named Champion Sake — the top overall prize — at the International Wine Challenge (IWC).
