The Story of タカハシ酒造

Takahashi Shuzo was founded in 1862 along the old Tokaido highway in Yokkaichi, Mie, where it hand-brews sake in a cool, humid climate. Its flagship label, Ten'yurin, takes its name from the writings of the ancient Chinese philosopher Zhuangzi: 'ten'yu' evokes a mind wandering freely beneath the open sky, and 'rin' means a beautiful jewel. The brewery draws on spring water from the Suzuka mountains and carefully selected rice.
