Founded in 1918 in Furukawa, Osaki, Kanbai Shuzo practices what it calls 'sake brewing that starts in the rice paddy' — growing its own rice through to the finished bottle. Its Miyakanbai label is known for a floral aroma and a full, rounded flavor, and has drawn a growing following of sake fans nationwide. The kura sits amid the rice paddies of Furukawa.
