Katano Sakura — Katano's only kura, seven-time national gold medallist.
Yamano Shuzo, founded in 1893, is the only sake brewery in Katano, between Osaka and Nara. It brews with underground water of the Ikoma range and mainly Kansai-grown sake rice; premium-grade sake makes up about 90% of production, forty percent of it namazake. Between 2010 and 2021 it took gold at the Annual Japan Sake Awards seven times. The shop is open weekdays 10:00–17:00.
