An Oyama brewery drawing on Nikko mountain groundwater for more than a century.
Sanpuku Shuzo has brewed in Oyama, in southern Tochigi, since 1896, carrying on more than a century of local tradition. Its sake draws on clear groundwater filtered through the Nikko mountains, and the brewery has long been enjoyed both within Tochigi and beyond. Rather than chasing trends, Sanpuku focuses on refining flavor and reconsidering what sake's traditional role can be today.
