Hakushu Distillery is Suntory's malt whisky distillery wrapped in forest at the foot of the Southern Alps, brewing since 1973 with the mountains' natural water. A wide array of stills and wooden washbacks lets it craft many styles of spirit, giving Single Malt Hakushu its fresh, verdant character. A visitor centre runs reserved tours.
