Sugiura Mirin has brewed hon-mirin in Hekinan, Aichi since 1924. Decades later, the founder's own handwritten recipe was rediscovered on the second floor of the brewery, and the house marked its centennial with a commemorative Aizakura bottle. Its core products are Aizakura, aged for one or three years, alongside the newer Sadajiro series.
