Since 1913 — 大仙市, Akita
A Daisen kura named for its founder and brewmaster together, small-batched through Akita's fiercest winter cold.
Founded in 1913 in Jinguji, Daisen, the brewery's name combines one character each from founder Fukuda and toji Tomogoro Takahashi. Under the banner "tradition and innovation," it brews in small hand-made batches, using Akita's harsh winter cold rather than mass production. The results have been recognized at the 2026 Wine Glass Award for Sake, including a top gold and a gold prize.
