銀鱗
Since 1897 — 秋田市, Akita
A Tsuchizaki brewery housed in a 1920s concrete kura, one of the first of its kind in Tohoku.
Founded in 1897 in Tsuchizaki-minato, Akita City, Nawa Shoten makes its Ginrin label from a reinforced-concrete kura built in 1927–28 — reportedly the first of its kind in Tohoku and the fourth in Japan. Hanaoka Masatsune, the first director of Akita Prefecture's brewing research institute, took part in its design, and it was built by Takenaka-gumi, the forerunner of today's Takenaka Corporation. The brewery makes both a light, sweet Seisen Ginrin and a drier Ginrin.
