Since 1888 — 西予市, Ehime
A Kyohina brewery born from an eight-way merger in a town that once prospered from wax.
Sakaroku Shuzo traces its roots to 1888, taking its current form in 1920 when eight local breweries in Uchiko, Ehime merged into one. Uchiko prospered in the Edo period from the wax trade, and today Sakaroku's flagship label, Kyohina, is built around a style described as "pure and refined." Its "Kyohina Inori Sennen" bottling recently placed among the top Platinum-award finishers at Kura Master 2026.
