Yoro Shuzo was founded in 1921 upstream on the Hiji river in Ozu, Ehime. From the start it has committed to hand-crafted sake, brewing in small quantities chiefly with prefecture-grown rice under the motto wajo ryoshu — "harmony brews good sake." Careful, attentive production and management have shaped every vintage since.
