The Story of 飛騨高山蒸溜所

Hida Takayama Distillery is a craft whisky distillery built in a former elementary school in Takayama, Gifu. Surrounded by forest and blessed with Hida's water and humid mountain climate — an asset for maturation — it distils under a vision of whisky-making in step with its region. Tours run irregularly, by advance reservation.
