A Tsukuba brewery whose sake has long served as sacred offerings at Mt. Tsukuba Shrine, still drawing spring water from the mountain's foot.
Inaba Shuzo, in Numata, Tsukuba, is said to have long brewed sake offered as sacred wine at Tsukuba-san Shrine, and the brewery marked its 150th anniversary with a dedicated celebration. It draws spring water from the foot of Mt. Tsukuba to brew its Minanogawa label. Its Junmai Daiginjo Stella is made in a strictly limited run of just seven tanks each year and has picked up multiple honors at international competitions including the IWC.
