Heirs to the Kanto Nada — several old kura merged into one house in 1972.
Ishioka Shuzo was formed in 1972 by the merger of several breweries in Ishioka — a town once called the Nada of Kanto for its brewing. Under the motto of three hundred years of technique, examined daily, it polishes its own rice in-house and brews its premium sakes from Yamada Nishiki, Omachi, Miyama Nishiki and Gohyakumangoku. Tours by reservation.
