龍泉八重桜
Since 1854 — 岩泉町, Iwate
Sake drawn from the underground lake of Ryusendo, one of Japan's great limestone caves.
Founded in 1854 in Iwaizumi, Iwate, Senkin brews with water from the underground lake of Ryusendo cave, paired with carefully chosen sake rice and the techniques of the Nanbu toji tradition. Its name carries the same source: Ryusen from the cave nearby, and Yaezakura from the double-flowered cherry that Japanese hold dear.
