A Sagamihara sake house since 1844, drawing its brewing water from springs deep in the Tanzawa mountains.
Kubota Shuzo has brewed in Sagamihara, Kanagawa since 1844, drawing its brewing water from springs deep in the Tanzawa mountains. That water runs through the full Sagaminada line, from the everyday Tokubetsu Honjozo to the flagship Junmai Daiginjo. A direct-sales shop at the brewery stays open year-round, while tours of the kura itself run separately, by advance reservation only.
