Zaku — the G7 summit sake, brewed in batches of 600 kilograms.
Shimizu Seizaburo Shoten, founded in 1869 in Suzuka, Mie, brews Zaku — the sake served at the 2016 G7 Ise-Shima Summit that carried its name around the world. The house holds to small batches of just 600–800kg of rice, small enough to answer every movement of the fermenting mash, drawing on Suzuka mountain subsoil water and Ise plain rice. Brewery tours and retail sales are not offered.
