The Story of 稲田酒造

Founded in 1880 in Tenri, Nara — the headquarters town of the Tenrikyo religion — Inada Shuzo has long supplied o-miki, the sacred sake used in its rites, a connection central to the brewery's identity. Its Kuromatsu Inaten label takes a different, more everyday approach: an easy-drinking, dry style brewed particularly with women drinkers in mind. Alongside sake, the brewery also makes and sells its own narazuke, vegetables pickled in sake lees, extending its craft beyond the bottle.
